Why wait? This weekend offers the perfect chance to get a jump on your holiday shopping – in a most artistic manner.
Crafts at Purchase, a benefit for the Performing Arts Center at Purchase College, will feature 100 jury-selected craft artists showcasing their one-of-a-kind works.
The show, enlarged and expanded this year to three days, is directed by Artrider Productions (perhaps best-known for Crafts at Lyndhurst). Expect to find limited-edition jewelry, clothing and accessories as well as home-décor pieces and functional and sculptural works in ceramics, glass, metal, painting, photography, wood and mixed media.
In addition, the Clay Art Center of Port Chester will also have a “pop-up show” within the event, featuring a selection of work by its own and guest artists.
The show runs Nov. 1-3 in the Performing Arts Center. For more, visit artrider.com or call (845) 331-7900.
