Still time for Xmas fun

Like Scrooge, you haven’t missed Christmas, even though the clock’s ticking down to Dec. 25. Still, there’s plenty of merriment to be had.

The sixth annual Greenwich Reindeer Festival and Santa’s Workshop at McArdle’s Florist & Garden Center winds down Dec. 23 as the reindeer take off to get ready for the big night. Santa, however, will be around for photo ops through 3 p.m. Christmas Eve. (Santa, don’t you think that’s cutting it close?)

McArdle’s is at 48 Arch St. For more, call 203-661 or visit mccardles.com.

Also through Christmas Eve, DreamWorks Animation has chosen Westchester’s Ridge Hill shopping center to host its only “DreamPlace” in the Northeast, the completely reimagined “Mall Santa” experience. It’s free to the public at the mall, One Ridge Hill Blvd., Yonkers. For more, call 914-207-2900 or visit westchestersridgehill.com.

George Balanchine’s “The Nutcracker,” the godfather of all “Nuts,” is being presented by the New York City Ballet at Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater through Jan. 3. For more, visit nycballet.com.

On Jan. 4, the curtain comes down on the first “Westchester’s Winter Wonderland,” which has transformed the Kensico Dam Plaza into a holiday festival with more than 2.5 million LED lights in a one-hour long continuous show choreographed to holiday music. Kensico Dam Plaza is at Park Drive West in Valhalla, so run, run, run over (up? down?) there before the seasonal magic ends. For more, visit wwinterwonderland.com.
