The village of Mamaroneck’s free concert series is back. The series, which runs through Aug. 3, has some changes in store, with musical events now on Thursday evenings and a performance by the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival. So bring your picnic baskets, blankets and chairs – and don’t forget the family:
This Thursday, July 11, it’s The Alpaca Gnomes, a stomp-and-groove rock, folk and jam band. On July 18, The Loyales, a Brooklyn cover band, performs. Then on Aug. 3, the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival rounds out the season with that ever-timely power trip, “Julius Caesar,” under the direction of Illana Stein.
