That delicious four-letter word

If you love to eat, the Westport Arts Center (WAC) has a show just for you.

“Foodies” (Sept. 14-Nov. 4) features works in various media — including painting, sculpture, video and photography – by artist members. The pieces have been selected by food industry folks with ties to the local community — Michel Nischan chef and owner of The Dressing Room; Bill Taibe, chef and owner of Le Farm and The Whelk;  Pat Callaghan, president of Pepperidge Farm; and Stew Leonard Jr., president of the store that bears his name.

Support for “Foodies” has been provided by Pepperidge Farm, Green Village Initiative and media sponsor CT Bites. There’s a reception for the mouth-watering show – as well as a night market — from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 14 at the center’s gallery, 51 Riverside Ave. For more information, call (203) 226-1806 or visit westportartscenter.org.
