The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum takes a ‘stand’

Monday, June 7 through Jan. 2, The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in Ridgefield presents “from where i stand"

Monday, June 7 through Jan. 2, The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in Ridgefield presents “from where i stand,” the first solo museum exhibit of the work of Hugo McCloud. His biracial, working-class background can be seen in the materials, process and subjects he gravitates to – using everyday media like roofing metal, tar and most recently plastic shopping bags to explore social and cultural memory and  reflect on notions of race, class and economic inequity. Hours are noon to 5 p.m. Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays through Fridays; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays. The Aldrich is at 258 Main St.
