The barbershop has long had a place in our culture where a man could not only get a haircut and a shave (or beard trim) but could find a sense of community – the barber being a tradition that stems from Bronze Age Egypt. But while the shops are still going strong, many men have gravitated to women’s hair salons for that extra touch.
Now Paolo Lanfredi – the former physical therapist and emergency room worker turned stylist – is branching out from women’s hair to the Cave Greenwich at 401 Greenwich Ave. What places like Cave Greenwich offer is the finesse and style of women’s hair salon in a space in which guys can be guys.
Our own Jeremy Wayne will have more on this in WAG’s February health/body issue, but for now, you can check it out a bit here: https://www.paulolanfredi.com/services
