Back to the future at Fuelco.com
Here’s an event for anyone nagged by inflation. On Friday and Saturday, June 25 and 26, between 10 a.m. and noon, you can buy gas at $1.49 a gallon at Fuelco.com in Valhalla. (Go there at 11:30 a.m. June 25 and meet Adam Musa, owner of Fuelco.com, Mount Pleasant Supervisor Carl Fulgenzi and other officials.) To put this in perspective, you’d have to go back to 2001 to find a comparable gas price.
Also, anyone who has downloaded Fuelco.com’s free smartphone app will be eligible to win a Chevrolet Camaro, which will be raffled on June 26 around 4 p.m. (Fuelco.com app users will be able to buy gas for $1.49 a gallon, too.) All customers who enter the gas station’s convenience store, FoodSmart, will be eligible to win prizes.
Meanwhile, the Road Knights will hold a classic-cars show at the gas station on June 25 at 11 a.m.
