You gotta have art

Time for the fourth annual Stamford Art Festival.

Get inspired and celebrate the arts at the fourth annual Stamford Art Festival at Harbor Point, Saturday, July 28 and Sunday, July 29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine. Ranked nationally as one of the top 100 fine art festivals in the country by national artists in both Sunshine Artist magazine and The ArtFair Sourcebook, the Stamford Art Festival shares it’s success with the artists it represents. “These exhibiting artists are some of the top award-winning ‘A’ listers and creatives in the country,” says Sue Brown Gordon, festival director. “Working with these amazing artists brings me such inspiration and motivation to make the Stamford Art Festival the best arts event possible.”

A juried show featuring more than 100 artists selected locally and from across the country and Canada, the festival offers a selection of paintings, photography, drawings, prints, sculptures, mixed media, jewelry, ceramics, fiber, metal and glass pieces that are original works and available for collecting in every price point.

Exhibitors will display their work on the expansive boardwalk overlooking the Stamford Harbor. The festival includes live musical performances on both days, as well as free arts activities and demonstrations for children and adults, plus a variety of cuisine ranging from gourmet food to homemade desserts. Sunday, July 29 features a Farmers Market as well. And it all happens under tents.

Admission is free. There is ample free parking. Harbor Point in Stamford is easy to reach at Exit 7 on I-95 northbound and southbound.
