In many Christian traditions, Sunday, Jan. 9, marks the feast of the Baptism of Jesus, the official end of the Christmas season. Trinity Spiritual Center, based in Southport, hosts a free livestream event with Episcopal thought leader Matthew Wright at 3 p.m. Rev. Wright will discuss how Jesus demonstrated a new understanding of human existence, showing the faithful a path to living lives at one with the divine.
