Channel your inner god and goddess

I don’t know about you but I’m all about finding my inner goddess.  You know, that part of me that shines beautifully and spreads my light into the world – whether I am all dressed up – or at home, with no makeup on, in comfy leggings.

I don’t know about you but I’m all about finding my inner goddess.  You know, that part of me that shines beautifully and spreads my light into the world – whether I am all dressed up – or at home, with no makeup on, in comfy leggings.

So I was delighted to discover Apollo & Artemis skincare, which proudly invites anyone – yes, it is unisex – to discover the god and goddess within yourself.  These are beautiful, high-quality skincare products that should definitely be on your radar screen – and on your face.

The product was created by Laura Lee Botsacos and her crazy chemist cousin (C³ for short), two people bound by families of Greek and Italian heritage and best friends by choice. Apollo & Artemis Beauty by Equality is a brand created from their passion, dedicatio, and love of healthy, glowing skin. Their mission is simple: Make people happy in their skin.

“We have spent years engineering products for everyone. Why? Because during this process we realized that less really is more. We have created four exceptional, naturally balanced products for all genders delivering blemish-free, healthy, glowing radiant, godly skin,” says Botsacos.

Even better, the brand donates a percentage of profits to organizations that fight child sex trafficking, especially youth from the LGBTQ community.

Botsacos answered a few questions for me:

What makes this brand special, unique and different?

“Our products are sourced from all over the globe and we spent several years pre-launch finding the best-quality ingredients that met our high standards. For instance, our Omega Face Serum, which is our Squalane, is derived from sugarcane sourced from Brazil. We tested over two dozen Squalanes before we picked ours. Our Oracle eye cream contains Arabian Jasmine that we source from Asia and awthorn flowers that we source from Bulgaria.”

Tell me about some of the advantages that C3 brought to the table. (I know she wants to remain anonymous, but tell me a little bit about her.)

“Ah, yes, the elusive C3. She brings 25 years of research and development experience to Apollo & Artemis. With her background in green chemistry and degrees in biotechnology, we were able to create superior products that I am 100% confident can stand up to any of the big players in the industry.  We can proudly tout ourselves as a clean, vegan, skincare line that is superb in quality. The products work. C3’s knowledge, skill and integrity is second-to-none, plus she deals with me…lol. Seriously, we are a good team.”

Why did you name this product line Apollo & Artemis?

“Apollo & Artemis is a nod to my Greek Heritage. Apollo and Artemis are twins… Zeus’ … beloved children. They were also warriors and champions of science, medicine, art, music and beauty. They remind us all of the male and female, the light and dark, the science and art, the yin and yang that is within each and every one of us.

What is your bestseller and why?  When did you launch it?

“Hands down Oracle. I predict that Oracle will be a major player in the skincare industry. Oracle provides a full 360-degree eye care experience.  Most eye creams only treat the under eye, but Oracle treats the entire eye including the lid.”

What is the benefit of vitamin C, as found in your Facial Essence?

“Our Alpha Vitamin C Facial Essence is awesome. It contains 20% ascorbic Acid, which is the highest amount allowed on the market, all derived from a broth of fresh fruits and  vegetables. Alpha helps diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and sun damage. With its amazing antioxidant properties and light citrus scent, Alpha will leave your skin glowing.”
