The United Way of Westchester and Putnam has announced that in response to the hardships created by the coronavirus, it is releasing funds totaling up to $50,000 through grants to nonprofits in Westchester County. The organization is looking to target organizations directly helping the underprivileged or ALICE populations, those that are employed but are living paycheck-to-paycheck, are displaced or are actively affected by the virus in Westchester. Individual grants up to $5,000 will be awarded. For more, call 914-997-6700 or visit uwwp.org.

Beauty and body-care company Alleyoop is looking to make work at home more enjoyable with a home playlist that you can access on Spotify beginning Tuesday, March 24, and a 30-page Gratitude Journal that you can download now.
