Now the founder of 1stdibs.com – and former Larchmont resident – has launched Tastemakers Guide to help small businesses in upstate New York make it through and survive the aftermath of the coronavirus pandemic.
Developers built the website pro bono at lightning speed, connecting more than 300 crucial small businesses in the food, hospitality, art and design fields.
The website offers these businesses a platform on which to share their current operating status and update their notes from the field in real-time.
The information, readily available in one place, also allows people to continue supporting businesses they love and discover new ones to visit later when it’s safe to venture out and travel locally.
