Here comes the Easter Bunny

The Easter Bunny’s on his way to The Westchester.

The Easter Bunny hippity-hops into The Westchester Friday, March 29. But you don’t have to be stuck on the bunny trail, waiting for your photo op with him.

With the Bunny’s FastPass, you can go to simonbunny.comand reserve a date and time for the Bunny Photo Experience, which begins 10 a.m. March 29 and runs through April 20 at Center Court, Level 1.

“We love to hold family-friendly events and we always look forward to watching children have fun with the Bunny at Easter,” says Paula Kelliher, director of marketing at The Westchester.

The Westchester is also excited to showcase a new, custom Easter set. The entrance features an oversized arbor, cottage gate and a special TV floor monitor, with bunnies hopping in a field of dandelions. The Easter Bunny will sit on a chair that is 96-inches high and shaped like a giant Easter egg. The set will be adorned with topiaries, colorful trees and glittery Easter eggs.

The Westchester also affords people with special needs and their families an opportunity to enjoy this time-honored holiday tradition through a sensory-friendly Caring Bunny event in association with Autism Speaks. The Caring Bunny experience, which will offer a more subdued environment for guests, will take place April 7 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the mall opening. Guests can register in advance at simon.com/caringbunny. Throughout the season, the Bunny Photo Experience will share the heart of the Easter Bunny by collecting donations for Autism Speaks.

The popular Pet Photo Nights return to the Easter Bunny Photo Experience as well. Pet Photo nights are hosted after the regular mall closing, and the set gets an extensive cleaning following the event to remove any potential risk to allergy sufferers. Pet Photo Nights at The Westchester will be held on April 7 and April 14 at 6:30 p.m.
