In celebration of Women’s History Month, some 30 artists from the Hudson Valley and beyond are participating in “Girlhood” at the Howland Cultural Center in Beacon.
The exhibition, which continues through April 1, is curated by Bibiana Huang Matheis.
The show is described in this way:
“The exhibit will explore the thematic of ‘Girlhood’ through artistic expression and vision, memory and personal connection. As a collective, the artists will present all types of media, including paintings, photography, sculpture, ceramic, fabric art, assembly, drawings and more.”
The exhibition is open from 1 to 5 p.m. Fridays through Mondays (with the exception of March 18, when it is closed) at the gallery, 477 Main St.
