It seems like only yesterday – well, actually, Dec. 9, 1965 – that CBS aired “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” the first TV special based on the “Peanuts” comic strip by Charles M. Schulz. Since then, the heart-warmer – about the real religious and secular meaning of Christmas – has become a yuletide tradition and now it’s gone live. At 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at Chappaqua Performing Arts Center, the cast of “A Charlie Brown Christmas: Live on Stage” will offer the press a sneak peek at the musical, which will run Dec. 3 through 19 at Chappaqua PAC and then have its New York City premiere Dec. 21 through 24 at The Palladium Time Square.
Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown.
