Regent Seven Seas Cruises returns to sailing

Are you more than ready to cruise again?

I don’t know about you, but I am more than ready to cruise again.  I miss the ports of call, the cuisine and the beauty of the ships. So I’m rarin’ to go on Regent Seven Seas Cruises. The last cruise I took was February 2020, when the ultra-luxurious Regent Seven Seas Splendor made its debut – with supermodel Christie Brinkley at the helm as its godmother

Splendor will begin cruising from the United Kingdom in September. Get your passports ready. The best room on the ship is the spectacular Regent Suite that measures 4,443 square feet.  It boasts a grand piano and a bedroom with a custom-crafted $200,000 Vividus bed from the Hästens company.  The cost of the suite for the September cruise is $60,499 per person based on a double occupancy.

The September voyage will mark the cruise line’s return to service, as well as Seven Seas Splendor’s inaugural season, with the ship having only completed two cruises with guests after being christened last year. With a phased return to sailing for the rest of the fleet, luxury travelers will soon be able to enjoy the Regent experience with the peace of mind that comes with the multilayered SailSAFE™ health and safety program.

“Come September we will have the double celebration of our return to the seas as we also recommence the inaugural season of the ship that perfects luxury, Seven Seas Splendor,” said Jason Montague, president and CEO, Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “With immaculate design, luxurious suites, exquisite cuisine, dynamic entertainment and outstanding personalized service, Seven Seas Splendor was one of the most highly-anticipated ships to launch in the history of cruising, and my promise to our loyal and eager guests is that without a doubt she will be worth the wait.”

The cruise line intends to preserve originally planned itineraries, as much as the global health environment at the time allows, presenting guests with the exceptional cruise and destination experience that they have come to expect from Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

The first cruise in her inaugural season has Seven Seas Splendor scheduled to set sail Sept. 11, for an 11-night voyage, round-trip from Southampton, England, visiting Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland. After her initial voyage, the ship will transition to explore the Mediterranean before crossing the Atlantic to sail the Caribbean. While many of her sailings are already sold out, there are still opportunities to cruise later in Seven Seas Splendor’s European season and in the Caribbean in early 2022.

 Bon voyage!
