WAG has featured Hästens, the Swedish company that’s been crafting a luxurious night of sleep since 1852, several times.
Most recently, we spotlighted the expansion of its Satin Pure collection of luxury bed linens with a story in our June 2018 issue.
Now, we can share that the collection is expanding once again. Hästens has introduced three new colors – Princess Green, Pink Beige and Dusty Mauve. All, we’re told, are “inspired by the subtle colors of Georgia O’Keeffe’s paintings of New Mexico’s landscape and desert flowers.”
Cay Bond, an expert in Swedish design, fashion and art, developed the colors.
In press notes shared by Hästens, Bond comments that, “The material itself governed my choice first and foremost, then I looked at suitable shades to combine with the different colors of the beds. The new bed linens are stunning against the beige- and gray-colored beds and are really fun to combine with the classic Hästens style.”
